Keep Android Open

2025年8月、Google は2026年9月以降、事前にGoogle への中央集権的な登録を行わずに Android プラットフォーム向けのアプリを開発することはできなくなると発表しました。この登録には以下が含まれます:

Google への手数料の支払い
Google の利用規約への同意
政府発行の身分証明書の提供
開発者のプライベート署名鍵の証拠のアップロード
現在および将来のすべてのアプリケーション識別子のリストアップ

これがあなたの権利にとって何を意味するのか

➤ 消費者であるあなたは、Android がオープンなコンピューティングプラットフォームであり、好きなソフトウェアを自由に実行できるというGoogleの約束を信じてデバイスを購入したはずです。しかし、2026年9月以降、彼らはユーザーの同意なしにオペレーティングシステムのアップデートを強制し、この権利を永久にブロックしようとしています。あなたがどのソフトウェアを信頼できるかは、Google の裁量に完全に委ねられることになります。

➤ 国家であるあなたは、権威主義的体制による超法規的な要求に応じ、彼らが気に入らないというだけで完全に合法なアプリを削除してきた実績を持つ企業に、国民の権利と国家のデジタル主権を譲り渡すことになります。企業や政府の運営に不可欠なソフトウェアが、遠く離れた無責任な巨大企業の不透明な気まぐれに左右されるようになるのです。

更新: Googleは開発者認証を「諦めて」いません

最終的に「経験豊富なユーザーが未検証のソフトウェアをインストールするリスクを受け入れる」ことを最終的に可能にするかもしれない「高度なフロー」の可能性についての曖昧な言及とは裏腹に、Googleの計画の説明では引き続き次のように明言されています：

2026 年 9 月より、認定済み Android デバイスにインストールできるのは、確認済みのデベロッパーによって登録されたアプリのみとなります。

過度な負担なく検証プロセスを回避できるようになるという確固たる証拠が示されるまでは、公式ページに記載されている内容を信じるしかありません。すなわち、ロックダウンが実施されれば、未登録の開発者によるすべてのアプリがブロックされるということです。

開発者へ: 抵抗し、拒否してください

あなたがアプリ開発者なら、早期アクセスプログラムへのサインアップ、身元確認の実施、Android Developer Console への招待の承諾を_行わないでください_。招待があった場合は、懸念と反対の理由をリストにして（礼儀正しく）返信してください。

—— 彼らの乗っ取り計画が成功するのは、開発者が黙認し、屈服した時だけなのです。——

仲間のアプリ開発者や組織にも、このプログラムにサインアップしないよう働きかけてください。コミュニティフォーラム、SNS、ブログ記事を活用してメッセージを広めましょう。アプリのユーザーに知らせるために、コードにFreeDroidWarn ライブラリを組み込んでください。ウェブサイトを管理している場合は、ページの上部にカウントダウンバナーを追加することを検討してください。
